Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China officially issued the national standard GB/T 11372-2025 Terms for Rust Prevention, which will come into force on May 1, 2026. As one of the core drafting entities, Nanjing Kerun Industrial Medium Co., Ltd. has deeply participated in the formulation of this national standard.

GB/T 11372-2025 Terms for Rust Prevention is a fundamental standard in the field of temporary rust prevention for metal products in China. It systematically defines the full-chain professional terms covering basic theories, pretreatment, materials, processes, testing and evaluation, providing a unified linguistic specification for scientific research, production, trade and technical communication. This revision is the first comprehensive update to the 1989 edition, reflecting the profound changes in rust prevention technology, material science and environmental protection requirements over the past three decades.
